We take information security very seriously. We work hard to protect the Personal Information you provide us from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. We use a range of physical, electronic and managerial measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of Personal Data processing.

The security of data transmitted over the internet (including by e-mail) cannot be guaranteed and carries the risk of access and interception. You should not send us any Personal Data by open/unsecure channels over the internet.

Please note that no electronic transmission, storage, or processing of Personal Information can be entirely secure. We cannot guarantee that the security measures we have in place to safeguard Personal Information will never be defeated or fail, or that those measures will always be sufficient or effective. How Long Will the Data be Processed and Stored

TeQatlas stores Personal Data during the period of the Services provision under the Terms of Use, and for 24 months upon the end of our cooperation (“Retention Period”). In any case, your Personal Data will be stored by TeQatlas no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Data is processed.

You may access, delete and modify Your Content at any time, the TeQatlas does not store any back-ups of Your Content you have voluntarily deleted. However, when you access the data on the Service (e.g. a publication, comment or attachments to a publication or comment), a copy of that data is copied to that user’s local computer (called “caching”). Caching is used to improve the speed of the Service when you repeatedly access graphics or data during a session. Once pages and/or data have been cached on your local computer that data is beyond the control of TeQatlas and may be accessible to anyone with access to your computer.
You assume all risk and liability associated with any data cached to your computer. We strongly recommend that you empty your web browser cache when you log out of a Platform session to ensure that any cached files from your session are deleted from your computer.

TeQatlas also stores the Personal Data of subjects who agreed to the subscription to our newsletters. The data is stored until a subscriber asks to be unsubscribed in the respective email form.

After the expiration of retention period, TeQatlas shall terminate the processing of your Personal Data or pseudonymize such data, unless stated otherwise under applicable laws.

Newsletter

TeQatlas distributes newsletters to its subscribers. As a rule, people just need to provide us with an email address for such subscription. If you are our current or potential client subscribed to the newsletters, we may have the following Personal Data: name, surname, email address, company, title, and a phone number in the newsletters database. TeQatlas provides those subscribed with the possibility to opt-out.

However, you cannot opt-out from the emails that are essential for your activity at the Platform and are sent to you directly by TeQatlas, not for marketing, but for communication purposes. These may include communications regarding issues with your account, other important information.

Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

As mentioned above, the Platform is using cookies. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the Platform. Cookies are typically stored on your computer’s hard drive. Information collected from cookies is used by us to evaluate the effectiveness of our Platform and analyze trends. Time for Reply and Reaction

We will provide information about the actions taken on your request, within one month after receiving the request. This period may be extended by two further months if we consider it necessary, considering the complexity and number of the requests. TeQatlas will notify you about such renewal within one month of the receipt of the request together with the reasons for such delay.
